Short version: this is a personal site. I don't sell data, run ads, or build profiles on you. Below is exactly what gets collected and why.
Analytics
I use two analytics tools to understand roughly how many people visit and where they come from — nothing that identifies you personally.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — anonymous and cookieless. Counts page views and traffic sources without tracking individuals across sites.
- Metricool — measures how traffic from my social posts lands on the site. This one sets a cookie in your browser.
Cookies
The only cookie this site sets comes from the Metricool analytics tag described above. It's used for aggregate visit measurement, not advertising. If you'd rather not be measured, you can block third-party cookies in your browser or use a tracker-blocking extension — the site works exactly the same either way.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, I store the email address you enter so I can send you the newsletter. It isn't shared with anyone, and every issue has an unsubscribe link. Ask me to remove your address any time and it's gone.
